Lusnnette graduated with her master's degree in Bilingual Social Work in Mental Health with a Migration Studies sub-specialization from Loyola University Chicago and her bachelor's degree in Social Work from the Universidad Metropolitana-Puerto Rico. Lusnnette was born and grow up in Jayuya, Puerto Rico until she moved to Wisconsin in 2016 with her husband, and her two amazing daughters. She has worked with immigrant children and parents in the School District of New Richmond in Wisconsin for 4 years, providing academic and language services to English Language Learners throughout the district and their families. Lusnnette served the Latinx community as a Mental Health Intern during 2021-22 and is now an Outpatient Therapist at CLUES. She is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is working towards the certification. As a Latina woman, Lusnnette is excited to support Latinx community and provides an environment of safety and empathy to help individuals overcome and thrive in their lives.
